Cardiac Catheterization Lab
Diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures are performed at Mon General in the Warren T. Anderson Center for Cardiac Care.
This facility is one of the busiest in the region, performing 3,000 diagnostic heart catheterizations (tests) and more than 1000 interventional (treatment) procedures each year.
Located on the second floor (ground floor) of Mon General Hospital, the center includes three cardiac catheterization labs, a hybrid operating room, a 13 bed pre-and-post procedure area with private rooms.
Our experienced physicians and staff are here to make sure you are relaxed and comfortable during your procedure.
Cardiac catheterization is used to diagnose and treat various heart conditions. It is much simpler than surgery and you do not need to be asleep for the procedure. Complications are extremely rare.
