HealthFair is an annual opportunity for individuals to participate in health screenings, get an overall picture of their health and learn what steps to take to create a healthy lifestyle. Many of the hospital’s departments and physicians have exhibits at HealthFair, where visitors can stop by and have their questions answered and learn about the healthcare services available right in our own backyard. The event is typically held the last Friday and Saturday in February.

The 2017, 34th Annual HealthFair will be held Feb. 24, 7 a.m. to  5 p.m.,  and Feb. 25, 7 a.m. to 2 p.m., in the Morgantown Mall. While HealthFair officially begins at 7 a.m., Multiphasic Blood Analysis screenings for pre-registered participants will be held from 6:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Walk-in participants can show up between 9-11 a.m.

The cost is $30 for the multiphasic screening, $15 for PSA and $15 for TSH. You must fast for 12 hours prior to the screenings.

Pre-registration for Multiphasic Screening, PSA or TSH has closed but walk-ins at HealthFair are accepted.

As always, The Baby Crawl brings quite a crowd to the HealthFair. The Baby Crawl, sponsored by The Perinatal Education Program of Mon General and the Hazel Ruby McQuain Birth Center, takes place in the Morgantown Mall Saturday afternoon, at concourse between J.C. Penney and Garfield's Restaurant. This event features up to 50 babies, all under the age of one, competing in a 20-foot crawl. Several heats are held. The Baby Crawl concludes with the winners of each heat participating in a final crawl-off. Register your baby for this year's baby crawl.
