Women's Urology Wellness Checklist

  • Ages 18-30

    Find out if there is a family history of bladder or kidney cancer.

     

    See a gynecologist for routine exams, and follow safe sexual practices.

  • Ages 30-50

    Maintain your blood pressure, blood sugar and cholesterol levels, as they are linked to kidney disease.

  • Ages 50-70

    Look for changes in bathroom breaks like urgency, frequency, leakage or frequent nighttime urination.

Men's Urology Wellness Checklist

  • Ages 18-30

    Perform routine testicular self-exams.

     

    Find out if there is a family history of bladder, kidney, or prostate cancer.

  • Ages 30-50

    High blood pressure, blood sugar, and cholesterol levels can cause kidney disease and erectile dysfunction.

     

    Get screened for prostate cancer if you are African American or if you have a father, brother, or son with prostate cancer.

  • Ages 50-70

    Talk to your doctor about prostate screening.

     

    Look for changes in bathroom breaks like urgency, frequency, decreased flow or frequent nighttime urination.
