Family Practice/Med Peds Physician

Private physician practice seeks MD/DO from an approved school and graduation from an accredited residency program in family practice. Thriving practice needs another partner track physician. Must be Board-certified within 24 months of commencing employment and hold license or be eligible for license in West Virginia.

Consideration may also be given to a part-time candidate who is interested in a long-term (2-3 years) part-time situation (not a permanent part-timer) as current physician will need someone to eventually take the practice over when she retires.

Practice Description
Well-established and well-respected private practice (currently one physician) in a rural setting 15 minutes outside Morgantown. Practice is mostly family practice and internal medicine with some pediatrics, no OB. Partnership opportunity for the ideal candidate.

• Call coverage 1:7;
• Admissions & privileges at Monongalia General Hospital ;
• Outpatient only is also an option;
• Practice owns a modern and updated office building in Core, WV, 15 minutes from Morgantown;
• Very laid back atmosphere, in a rural setting - "country doctor" setting but not a "country doctor" client base - practice attracts patients from a three-state radius;
• Very little staff turnover;
• Relocation assistance is provided.
