The purpose of the Compliance Plan is to promote understanding and adherence to applicable federal and state laws and regulations, and to make a sincere effort to prevent, detect, and correct any fraud, abuse, or waste in operations while protecting and supporting MHS's mission. Open communications are fundamental to the success of the Compliance Plan and to the reduction of any potential for fraud, abuse, and waste. Without help, it may be difficult to learn of possible compliance issues and make necessary corrections. Anyone who is aware of or suspects acts of fraud, abuse, or waste or violations of the standards of conduct or policies and procedures is encouraged to report these acts or violations.
